Introducing the Minuteman XD Truck Fire Skid, available in 225- and 325-gallon sizes and engineered around four key applications: firefighting, prescribed burning, water drafting and hauling, and equipment washing. Built with meticulous attention to detail, the Minuteman XD is a versatile, heavy-duty system designed to handle demanding conditions and provide years of reliable service. With a wide range of accessories and upgrades available, you can customize your Minuteman XD to fit your needs and tackle any job with confidence.
Wildland Fire Fighting
- The standard WATERAX VERSAX® 6 high-pressure pump delivers 120 PSI/105 GPM, paired with a 1" 5-40 GPM adjustable flow NFPA nozzle with up to 70' reach for excellent fire attack capabilities. Larger pump and nozzle options are also available.
Water Drafting/Hauling
- The greatest challenge in firefighting is often a lack of water, so we designed the Minuteman XD to refill quickly. The standard 12' x 2" draft/discharge hose and strainer allow you to use the onboard pump to quickly refill the tank and get back on the fire within minutes.
Prescribed Burning
- The standard 100' x 1" Kochek lightweight booster hose, hose reel, and selectable-flow NFPA nozzle provide an efficient setup for prescribed burning and convenient single-person operation.
Equipment Washing
- The standard WATERAX VERSAX® 6-Series high-pressure pump, 1" lightweight booster hose, and selectable 5-10-24-40 GPM nozzle provide excellent pressure and volume for washing equipment, trailers, and more.

- Honda GX200 (6.0 HP) Engine: Recoil Start, 4-Stroke, Equipped with Spark Arrester and Low Oil Alert, Includes Muffler Deflector.

Booster Hose, Nozzle, and Reel
The Minuteman XD includes a 100' x 1" lightweight NFPA booster hose, a durable 1" aluminum selectable nozzle with 5-10-24-40 GPM settings and up to 70' reach, and a powder-coated Reelcraft hose reel with manual rewind. Electric rewind is available as an upgrade.
Durable Manifold
- Built with durable Banjo polypropylene fittings for long-lasting, rust-free performance and resistance to leaks, cracks, and chemicals. Easily accessible fittings make repairs simple, while the pressure gauge, tank-level sight tube, and convenient cupholder keep monitoring and operation simple.
Heavy-Duty Polyethylene Tank
- Durable, algae-resistant, and designed to resist cracks, chips, and ruptures. Partially baffled for stability and equipped with a sight tube and yellow float for easy water-level monitoring. Available in 225- and 325-gallon capacities.
Standard Truck Beds
- At 76" long and 48" wide, the Minuteman 225XD fits full-size truck beds while allowing the tailgate to close on 6½' beds. Four corner bolt-down points provide easy permanent mounting.
Strength and Versatility: Frame
The Minuteman XD features a heavy-duty frame built from 3/16" and 1/8" steel tubing, with forklift cutouts, four bolt-down points, an operator platform, and removable pickup points. Built with USA steel for lasting durability.
Bale Bed Loadable
- The only bale-bed-loadable fire skid in the industry! Designed for quick loading in about a minute, full or empty, with two adjustable loading points for easy balance. Also available without bale bed pickup points.
Ultimate Protection: Powder Coated
- Built for the rugged conditions of the fire line, every Minuteman XD frame is professionally sandblasted, primed, and powder coated for long-lasting protection against the elements.
Versatile Loading Solutions
- Load the Minuteman XD with a skid steer, forklift, loader, or bale bed. Standard forklift cutouts and welded D-rings at the pickup points provide convenient and versatile loading options.
Operator's Platform
- The Minuteman XD is designed with operator comfort and safety in mind. The standard built-in platform provides protection and a clear vantage point, while keeping engine, manifold, and pump controls easily accessible for confident, efficient operation.
Storage Solutions
- Stay prepared for the unexpected with the Minuteman XD. A standard 2-gallon RotopaX® auxiliary fuel can and lockable storage box provide convenient space for fuel, tools, gear, manuals, and other essentials.
